Responsibilities

Manage and technically lead software engineering teams through complex challenges.
Steer technical teams and guide clients toward successful digital transformations.
Shape and improve the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle across development, testing, deployment, and operations.
Implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and efficient release management strategies.
Improve system performance through load testing, caching, database query optimization, and application logic optimization.
Apply modern engineering standards and architectural patterns, including TDD, contract testing, secure coding, event-driven architecture, and platform migration.
Mentor engineers and foster continuous improvement.
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, product, design, and cross-functional teams on internal and client projects.
Provide technical subject matter expertise for bids and client proposals.
Present proposed approaches and discuss technical implementation with prospective clients during the sales process.

Experience managing and technically leading a software engineering team.
Ability to interact with clients and demonstrate credibility in technology and delivery.
Capability to shape the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle and drive improvements.
Ability to implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and release management strategies.
Expertise in performance optimization, including load testing, caching, database queries, and application logic.
Knowledge of TDD, contract testing, secure coding, event-driven architecture, and platform migration.
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, collaboration, and stakeholder-management abilities.
Experience providing technical expertise for bids and client proposals and discussing implementation with prospective clients.

Hybrid working with at least two days per week in the office or on a client site, with assignments potentially requiring up to five days per week on a client site.
