Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable features across the full stack.
- Write clean, efficient, documented code and participate in code reviews.
- Use AI tooling to problem-solve, write, review, test, and ship code.
- Build AI-powered features into the Flexigrant platform.
- Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.
- Debug and resolve issues across the application stack.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and team to refine requirements into working software.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and process improvement.
- Support and maintain the production environment.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, especially AI.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience building secure, scalable applications in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Strong proficiency in C#, VB.NET, .NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
- Strong frontend skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience building responsive web applications across devices and browsers.
- Strong relational database skills with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, including schema design, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Understanding of application architecture, SOLID, DRY, and object-oriented design principles.
- Understanding of software security best practices, RESTful API design, and service-based architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to write automated unit and integration tests.
- Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or comparable AI coding tools.
- Experience with agentic AI software development lifecycles and workflows.
- Ability to translate discussions and requirements into user stories or technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, self-direction, adaptability, and customer-focus skills.
