Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack applications with AI capabilities central to the product.
- Integrate LLM-powered features including prompt and context engineering, RAG pipelines, structured outputs, and agent workflows with product data and APIs.
- Use Claude Code, Copilot, and Cursor while maintaining ownership of architecture and code quality.
- Design and maintain AI evaluation frameworks, including golden datasets, automated evaluations, regression testing, output validation, and production quality monitoring.
- Own features from ambiguous requirements through production deployment, observability, and post-launch iteration.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic into production applications used by real customers.
- Fluency with system prompts, few-shot examples, structured outputs, tool or function calling, and chain-of-thought patterns.
- Understanding of token economics, including per-call cost, context management, and model-selection tradeoffs.
- Experience building quality evaluation and output-validation frameworks for AI features.
- Awareness of AI risks including hallucination, prompt injection, data leakage, and output inconsistency.
