Responsibilities

  • Advise cross-functional teams on technology selection, target-state cybersecurity architecture, and improvements to current cybersecurity parameters.
  • Use authorized AI capabilities to support cybersecurity architecture analysis, threat and risk assessment, roadmap decisioning, and security validation.
  • Develop multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategies and priorities.
  • Create scalable public-cloud coding frameworks, system design patterns, process templates, and reusable software frameworks.
  • Develop secure production code and review and debug code written by others.
  • Serve as the cybersecurity function’s subject matter expert and drive technical thought leadership.
  • Improve SDLC and toolchain security validation through reusable AI-assisted practices with traceability, auditability, and resiliency.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in cybersecurity architecture and at least 10 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on cybersecurity architecture experience applicable across business functions and systems.
  • Experience using authorized AI capabilities in cybersecurity architecture and engineering workflows, with strong validation and data-sensitivity awareness.
  • Ability to validate AI-assisted security recommendations and designs before adoption and escalate uncertainty appropriately.
  • Fluency in one or more programming languages.
  • Deep knowledge of software, application development, software architecture, and technical processes in one or more disciplines such as public cloud or AI/ML.
  • Experience solving complex architecture problems using new methods and technical expertise.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and executives.
  • Knowledge of current internal and external risk trends and ability to apply business context.
  • Experience leading a product as a product owner or product manager.
