Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture of the AI-assisted migration platform, including agents, skills, harnesses, AI-in-the-loop controls, and Azure cloud components.
- Drive AI/ML strategy, including model selection, build-versus-buy decisions, fine-tuning versus prompting, cost and latency trade-offs, and generative-system evaluation metrics.
- Develop LLM components using structured prompt output, LLM API integrations, RAG or classification pipelines, and model-output evaluation harnesses.
- Build and maintain the parsing and conversion engine that reads XML/JSON-based Nintex workflow definitions and generates equivalent Power Automate flow logic.
- Integrate the platform with surrounding systems through Azure authentication flows, MCP server endpoints, APIs, and webhooks.
- Lead feasibility studies and production delivery, define data requirements with customer IT teams, and triage client edge cases into a prioritized backlog.
- Own migration risk management, rollback strategy, security and credential reviews, unsupported-case documentation, and automated workflow validation.
- Lead and mentor a 3–8 person AI/automation engineering team across classical engineering and AI/prompt-engineering disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's-level or equivalent computer-focused education through B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc. Computers, or MCA.
- Experience with Node.js/TypeScript or Python, XML/JSON parsing, parsers, ASTs, rule engines, regular expressions, and expression-language conversion.
- Experience with prompt engineering, schema-constrained output, Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, RAG or classification pipelines, and LLM evaluation or output scoring.
- Experience architecting AI-in-the-loop systems and managing hallucination or fidelity risks.
- Experience with Azure App Services, Functions, Key Vault, Azure AD, Azure CLI, and Azure AD authentication flows.
- Experience with MCP server development, API integration, webhook handling, and automated workflow or flow validation testing.
- Experience scoping feasibility studies and production builds, working with customers, defining technical data requirements, and managing edge-case escalations.
- Experience leading a small-to-mid-sized AI or automation engineering team and mentoring both classical engineering and prompt-engineering practitioners.
- Security review experience involving authentication, credential migration, and connection ownership is required or relevant to the role.
- SharePoint or Microsoft 365 administration experience is a nice-to-have.
