Responsibilities
- Define enterprise architecture and reusable patterns for AI, ML, generative AI, RAG, model serving, vector search, fine-tuning, inference, and MLOps.
- Design scalable, highly available, low-latency AI platforms using cloud-native and distributed technologies.
- Establish standards for observability, resiliency, fault tolerance, API integration, and production AI operations.
- Lead technical design reviews, architecture decisions, roadmaps, and resolution of complex challenges across teams.
- Develop AI governance guardrails covering security, privacy, model governance, responsible AI, and regulatory compliance.
- Define FinOps and optimization strategies for cloud AI infrastructure, GPU resources, accelerators, training, and inference workloads.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant technology experience, including significant experience designing enterprise-scale distributed or cloud-based platforms.
- Proven experience architecting and deploying AI/ML and generative AI solutions in production.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases or vector search, model serving, inference, model fine-tuning, MLOps, and model lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with large-scale data and event processing technologies such as Apache Kafka and Apache Spark, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant, performance-sensitive production systems.
- Ability to influence architecture and engineering decisions across multiple teams and communicate with senior technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with enterprise AI governance, privacy, security, responsible AI, GDPR, the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, GPU or accelerator optimization, FinOps, AI Centers of Excellence, enterprise platforms, and large-scale AI adoption or transformation programs.
