Software Engineer (Milan)
Eight SleepResponsibilities
- Build responsive, accessible landing, campaign, partner, and influencer pages for eightsleep.com.
- Design, implement, launch, instrument, and analyze A/B tests and other growth experiments.
- Create scalable, templated systems that make new page launches efficient and consistent.
- Maintain analytics and advertising integrations and ensure event data is accurate and privacy-compliant.
- Optimize conversion funnels, including promotions, email capture, calls to action, messaging, and page performance.
- Own SEO and accessibility initiatives, including metadata, sitemaps, structured data, and page speed.
- Develop localized pages and experiments for supported regions and languages.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and the modern frontend web stack.
- At least 5 years of frontend web development experience, ideally in growth, marketing, or ecommerce.
- Ability to design experiments using clear hypotheses, sample-size considerations, and statistical significance.
- Hands-on experience with product analytics, including funnels, cohorts, and event tracking, using Amplitude or similar tools.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and GA4.
- Knowledge of web performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and data privacy or consent requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, including the ability to QA work independently.
- Ability to use coding assistants and other AI tools effectively.
- Experience with SEO/AEO, structured data, internationalization/localization, server-side conversion tracking, Tailwind CSS, design systems, Figma-to-code workflows, headless CMS platforms, media or asset pipelines, or media-heavy site optimization is beneficial.
