Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of an AI-native AWS infrastructure supply chain system.
- Drive technical roadmap execution from proof of concept through production while balancing delivery speed and long-term architecture quality.
- Assist with hiring and mentor software development engineers while helping build a high-performing engineering team.
- Collaborate with AWS Infrastructure Services and partner teams to integrate platform capabilities.
- Establish operational excellence practices for production services, including on-call, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Design and create reliable, scalable enterprise software products from the ground up.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with data and AI technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, analytics, databases, and/or storage.
