Responsibilities
- Lead technical teams and develop high-quality software solutions.
- Work with customer architects to agree technical designs and advise on effort estimates and technical implications.
- Own technical architecture, estimation, product planning, and user story or requirements creation for software projects.
- Incorporate customer non-functional requirements into application designs.
- Manage, coach, and develop staff, including supporting performance and career development.
- Communicate technical designs clearly in conversations, documentation, and presentations.
- Make effective technical decisions in a fast-moving delivery environment.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing activities and technology communities.
Requirements
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
- Experience delivering software designs for modern multi-tier applications.
- Experience owning the technical direction of a product or software project.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings.
- Understanding of customer non-functional concerns and experience incorporating them into application design.
- Ability to communicate technical issues and designs to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop junior team members.
- Experience with multiple programming languages and data storage technologies is desirable.
- Experience setting objectives, giving feedback, and leading performance reviews is desirable.
