Responsibilities
- Build responsive UI components with React.js and improve user experience.
- Design, develop, and maintain a cross-platform Electron.js desktop application.
- Develop Node.js backend logic, APIs, file-system operations, and system integrations.
- Build and ship features for an Android mobile application.
- Design, migrate, and optimize lightweight local SQLite or similar embedded databases.
- Review UX, iterate on interfaces based on user feedback, and contribute to code reviews and engineering practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze requirements, triage requests, and deliver solutions across shifting priorities.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of Android development experience using Android Studio.
- Deep React.js experience including component design, hooks, and state management with MobX, Redux, or similar.
- Strong Electron.js experience with main/renderer architecture and packaging or distribution.
- Strong Node.js skills for APIs, file-system operations, and asynchronous code.
- Hands-on experience with SQLite or lightweight embedded databases such as better-sqlite3.
- Ability to create clean, user-friendly interfaces without relying on a dedicated designer.
- Experience with Electron Forge or electron-builder.
- Ability to read, debug, and write Java APIs.
- Proficiency with Oracle SQL for independently writing and analyzing queries.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in an agile, multi-stakeholder environment.
