Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, deployment, and operationalization of production-grade agentic AI systems.
- Provide technical mentorship and oversight to engineering squads across Investments, Investments Technology, and TRP Labs.
- Partner with business stakeholders to develop agent-driven workflows that automate complex processes and generate actionable insights.
- Establish engineering standards, architectural patterns, governance frameworks, automated testing practices, code review standards, and continuous delivery discipline for AI development.
- Oversee agent orchestration, prompt engineering, real-time data-driven automation, AI platforms, and infrastructure improvements.
- Prioritize technical debt and identify opportunities to apply AI agents to increase business value and operational efficiency.
- Translate investment business needs and strategic priorities into robust, scalable technology solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of progressive professional development experience using object-oriented languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Demonstrated leadership of engineering teams and ability to mentor engineers through complex technical challenges.
- Extensive hands-on experience architecting and delivering cloud-native solutions using AWS or Azure, containerized microservices, and agent frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to engineering excellence through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery.
- Preferred experience building production LLM-powered or agent-based systems.
- Preferred experience with retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, MCP servers, agent orchestration frameworks, prompt evaluation and iteration, model benchmarking, and performance testing.
- Preferred experience with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, AWS Kiro, and OpenAI Codex.
- Experience in asset management, financial markets, quantitative research, financial instruments, or financial datasets is preferred.

- Base salary ranges from $145,000.00-$247,000.00 in Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and for remote workers; $159,000.00-$272,000.00 in Washington, D.C.; and $181,000.00-$309,000.00 in New York and California.
