Base Salary

$150k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the React Native application for iOS and Android.
  • Build intuitive and accessible UI components for patient-facing features.
  • Collaborate with backend, design, and web frontend teams for seamless user experiences.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end feature development from conception to maintenance.
  • Integrate Graphql APIs and real-time data streams for current patient health records.
  • Implement best practices for mobile performance and secure handling of health data.
  • Instrument the app with observability tooling for insights and rapid iteration.
  • Work with product owners and designers to create pixel-perfect interfaces.
  • Stay current with React Native ecosystem and healthcare UX trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of mobile development experience, with at least 3 years in React Native.
  • Deep familiarity with the React Native ecosystem, including navigation and state management.
  • Solid understanding of iOS and Android platform differences.
  • Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs and handling complex data models.
  • Strong grasp of mobile performance optimization and debugging tools.
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and app store release processes.
  • A history of delivery on high-impact organizational projects.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a startup environment.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Passion for product development and ownership of projects.
  • Commitment to best practices and standards for software development.
  • Desire to help build an engineering team from the ground up.
