Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design large-complexity mobile solutions that are performant, scalable, maintainable, and secure.
- Identify and mitigate technical health risks within systems.
- Guide squad discussions and reviews to ensure high-quality designs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers on best practices.
- Establish metrics like KPIs and SLOs for health and reliability concerns.
- Design and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems.
- Balance new feature development with addressing operational risks.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams for seamless integration.
- Contribute to the team's vision and identify strategic technologies.
- Lead efforts to improve workflows and processes within the squad.
- Coach and mentor less experienced squad members.
- Identify inefficiencies in squad practices and propose solutions.
- Serve on the technical advisory group for critical decisions.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and propose enhancements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and propose innovative solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a software engineer with production consumer-facing code.
- Fluency in native mobile development technologies, including Swift and Kotlin.
- Experience with GraphQL and modern API patterns in mobile.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
- Proven experience in building performant user experiences in mobile.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects without management oversight.
