Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and deploy asynchronous, event-driven Java microservices for high availability and performance.
- Design reactive backend services using Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor, and RxJava.
- Develop and maintain real-time event-streaming pipelines with Apache Kafka.
- Build search and analytics capabilities using Elasticsearch.
- Architect and optimize MongoDB data persistence solutions.
- Lead test-driven development, write JUnit test suites, and promote code quality and coverage.
- Conduct code reviews, establish coding standards, and mentor mid-level engineers and analysts.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and architecture teams on features and system enhancements.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of backend software development experience focused on building and scaling Java applications.
- Deep proficiency in Java, including functional programming with Lambdas and reactive programming using Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor, or RxJava.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Expertise in test-driven development and JUnit, including unit testing and code coverage.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, pull requests, code reviews, and branching strategies such as GitFlow.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline design, automated testing, and continuous deployment.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and RESTful API development.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, debugging, independent-work, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, additional NoSQL databases, and open-source contributions are beneficial.
