Responsibilities
- Enhance and adhere to operational procedures for production support.
- Debug and resolve technical issues across customer technology stacks.
- Design and build tools for analyzing product and network logs.
- Administer infrastructure to keep customers informed.
- Become a subject matter expert on Ripple's technology.
- Collaborate with engineering to fix issues and release patches.
- Coach customers on best practices for using Ripple technology.
- Communicate customer requirements to influence product development.
- Participate in out-of-hours customer support as needed.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in transaction processing systems.
- Strong experience with web technologies, including REST APIs.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages like Bash or Python.
- Skilled in Linux system administration and networking.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components.
- Experience with real-time systems and peer-to-peer technologies.
- Familiarity with database systems like Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Jira.
- Deep knowledge of payment flows and cross-border processing.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 distributed team environment.
- Willingness to travel for customer relationship management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions.
- Experience with global teams and payments operations.
- Knowledge of industry messaging standards and payment systems.
