Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-level cryptographic architectures, PKI systems, and certificate automation solutions.
- Automate certificate management across microservices, desktops, servers, Windows and Unix hosts, firewalls, appliances, and cloud platforms.
- Integrate PKI and certificate-management technologies with Citi platforms and mission-critical systems.
- Evaluate, test, and certify PKI and cryptographic technologies.
- Ensure security products meet or exceed Citi internal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide occasional fourth-level support for the product toolset.
- Document product usage processes and procedures and follow the Technology Development Life Cycle.
Requirements
- Hands-on cryptographic engineering and Java development experience.
- Strong development background in C# and Python.
- Understanding of PKI, private keys, encryption methods, CRL, advanced key usages, and cryptographic protocols.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, secure development technologies, shift left, and security engineering principles.
- Understanding of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of cryptographic libraries, including Bouncy Castle, and symmetric and asymmetric encryption.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
