
Software Engineer, Enterprise Corrections - Courts & Justice

- Develop and maintain secure, performant, tested features for Corrections Solutions products.
- Write maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering.
- Design and integrate Web Services and APIs as part of product development.
- Work with relational databases to build, optimize, and maintain data-driven features.
- Use and maintain AI-assisted, agentic coding workflows to generate, test, debug, and optimize software.
- Automate and improve build and deployment processes.
- Identify technical debt and implement solutions that improve team productivity.
- Participate in on-call rotations for product, security, and urgent engineering issues.
- Create documentation for recurring issues, knowledge transfer, and standard procedures.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional software development experience, including designing, building, and maintaining SaaS applications.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and scalable architecture.
- Experience with relational database schema design, querying, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and cloud-native development practices.
- Experience with agentic coding tools and AI-assisted software development workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
- Ability to communicate, solve problems, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver quality software in an Agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Node.js is preferred.
- Familiarity with Web Services, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and build and deployment automation is preferred.
