Responsibilities
- Own features end to end, from defining scope and sketching UX through deployment.
- Build and iterate on applications using Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres, Drizzle, and Vercel.
- Collaborate with the CEO, company partners, and candidate users to shape product requirements.
- Propose experiments, prioritize scope, and use data and feedback to guide product decisions.
- Instrument analytics and telemetry, write tests, review pull requests, improve performance, and enhance developer ergonomics.
Requirements
- Meaningful experience building production web applications with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Postgres.
- Ability to design clean database schemas, write performant queries, and reason about cost.
- Product mindset with an interest in clarifying problems and delivering polished user experiences.
- Strong written and asynchronous communication skills with a bias toward action and ownership.
- Experience with real-time video or proctoring technology, AI/LLM pipelines, or large-scale assessment platforms is preferred but not required.
- Passion for meritocracy and products that broaden access to opportunity is preferred.
