Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain common components and infrastructure for data processing, infrastructure, serving, and development.
- Develop prototype systems to test innovative research ideas.
- Help partner teams integrate with infrastructure and tools.
- Own and maintain existing and new services, including participating in the on-call rotation.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary and multisite teams.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or one year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: two years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience building, evaluating, or deploying Large Language Model applications, conversational agents, or agentic frameworks.
- Preferred: experience designing and operating scalable, low-latency microservices and distributed backend systems.
- Preferred: experience with Kotlin, Android, generative AI tools, and backend software development.
