Creative Technologist/AI Specialist

Responsibilities
- Identify and articulate client challenges or opportunities that technology could address.
- Collaborate with creative software designers and Creative Directors to shape problems, wireframes, and user journeys.
- Rapidly build polished, demonstrable prototypes using AI coding tools and web technologies.
- Incorporate AI agents, LLMs, models, and MCP services into solutions where they create value.
- Build front ends, lightweight backend services, and APIs, and deploy prototypes to AWS.
- Present prototypes and technical concepts compellingly to clients and non-technical audiences.
- Research emerging AI tools, models, and techniques and develop informed recommendations for their use.
- Work autonomously, manage research and delivery, and document solutions for future use.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience building software or prototypes with AI tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- At least 5 years of experience building web applications and websites with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and ES6+.
- At least 2 years of experience working with backend stacks such as Node, Java, or Python.
- At least 1 year of experience configuring and using AWS web hosting services including S3, CloudFront, ECS, and Lambda.
- Demonstrable experience working alongside creative teams.
- Demonstrable experience presenting to clients and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Terraform for managing AWS deployments is desirable but not essential.
- Working knowledge of DynamoDB and vector databases such as ElasticSearch or OpenSearch.
- Exceptional written and oral communication, curiosity, inventiveness, autonomy, and effective time-management skills.
