Responsibilities

  • Design and develop applications on moderate to complex projects using HP/OpenText Exstream.
  • Create letter and document applications with business partners and development teams based on requirements.
  • Design, develop, test, maintain, support, and document Exstream templates and document applications.
  • Perform Exstream page design, including complex data-section-driven tables and data mapping for XML, delimited, and columnar files.
  • Handle application development, migration, enhancement, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Provide technical support for system-related issues and participate in proof-of-concept work and prototyping when needed.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to clarify requirements and assess technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with test engineers to ensure software meets the definition of done.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of applications development and programming experience.
  • Strong experience with OpenText Exstream 16.2 or above.
  • Experience handling PDF and HTML output formats.
  • Hands-on experience with Exstream Designer and OpenText Exstream page design.
  • Experience with data mapping for XML, delimited, and columnar files.
  • Knowledge of common Unix commands.
  • Experience or exposure to MS SQL Server, including tables, insert and update queries, and data model design, or experience with ETL development is preferred.
  • MessagePoint and SQL skills are valued as additional qualifications.
