Base Salary
$120k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scope, architect, implement, and deploy critical backend services across multiple product verticals.
- Design and maintain reliable, scalable, high-performance APIs and systems in a complex production environment.
- Participate in product discovery with manufacturing and software experts to define product improvements.
- Build backend and full-stack applications alongside engineers and factory operators.
Requirements
- Expertise in modern backend technologies, distributed systems, service architecture, data modeling, and scalable infrastructure design.
- Ability and desire to write high-quality, maintainable code.
- Experience designing and implementing REST and gRPC APIs.
- Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining backend or full-stack applications using a modern cloud or containerized stack.
- Product intuition and user empathy are valued, including understanding how services affect operators and workflows.
- Experience across multiple languages or systems, including Go, Python, C#, or C++, is advantageous.
- Experience with high-performance, reliable, or real-time systems and production systems in complex environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, robotics, automation, manufacturing systems, or 3D environments is advantageous.
- Candidates must satisfy applicable ITAR authorization requirements.
