Base Salary
$132k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.
- Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Deploy and manage backend services using cloud services.
- Contribute to microservices architecture development.
- Optimize scalability and performance using caching strategies, message queues, and distributed architectures.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with database management.
- Experience developing and integrating APIs, including designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices.
- Experience with scalability, performance optimization, caching strategies, message queues, and large-scale distributed architectures.
- Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
