Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Astronomer, Apache Airflow, and related orchestration technologies.
- Build data ingestion, transformation, validation, processing, modeling, and reporting solutions across structured and semi-structured data.
- Deploy and manage Google Cloud Platform data services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Run.
- Write advanced SQL and maintain Python code for data transformation, automation, workflow development, and analysis.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform and build CI/CD automation using Tekton and GitHub.
- Implement data-quality controls, monitoring, error handling, and operational-support practices.
- Create Looker Studio dashboards, KPI reporting, and executive-ready analyses using Microsoft Office tools.
- Partner with business stakeholders and leadership to define data requirements, align data strategy, and communicate actionable insights.
- Contribute to technical design sessions, Agile planning, peer reviews, documentation, reusable engineering patterns, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology, or a technology-related field is required.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, data-platform engineering, analytics engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with BigQuery and PostgreSQL, including pgAdmin or comparable database-management tools.
- Intermediate to advanced Python skills for data manipulation, automation, analysis, and maintainable software development.
- Hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Run.
- Experience with Apache Airflow, Astronomer, or similar pipeline-orchestration technologies.
- Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Tekton or comparable CI/CD tools, and GitHub.
- Experience using Visual Studio Code and building dashboards with Looker Studio or similar business-intelligence tools.
- Understanding of data quality, data governance, cloud security, monitoring, operational support, and cloud-native engineering practices.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders, communicate complex insights clearly, and work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional Agile environment.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, Apache Spark or other distributed-processing experience, data modeling and warehousing knowledge, executive dashboard experience, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience, and experience with Ford Pro or related mobility initiatives.
