Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end technical architecture of the system.
- Serve as the primary technical partner for the client, leading discussions and managing expectations.
- Translate complex business requirements into a concrete technical roadmap.
- Guide engineers through technical decision-making and mentorship.
- Contribute hands-on to critical parts of the system.
- Ensure the technical quality and integrity of engineering deliverables.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers and client stakeholders on timelines and scope.
- Manage technical debt strategically.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with progression into technical leadership.
- Proven experience architecting and leading complex, data-centric software systems.
- Exceptional client-facing skills and ability to communicate complex concepts.
- Deep technical expertise and sound judgment.
- Strong pragmatic decision-making skills balancing technical and business objectives.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools.
- Experience providing technical feasibility analysis for project planning.
- Experience with documents, data pipelines, or AI/ML systems is a plus.
- Hands-on expertise with Python in a data-intensive environment is a plus.
- Consulting experience or client-facing technical role experience is a plus.
