Base Salary

$150k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and evolve analytics, reporting, and AI-driven data intelligence capabilities for large-scale workloads.
  • Lead the architecture and delivery of complex distributed systems, microservices, and critical platform initiatives.
  • Own services end to end, including design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, performance optimization, reliability, and operational excellence.
  • Drive architectural decisions and technical direction across teams while establishing engineering standards and best practices.
  • Mentor engineers through coaching, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to define requirements and align platform direction.
  • Develop validation frameworks, automated testing strategies, and data quality controls for software and data products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 9+ years of professional software development experience leading the design and delivery of complex software systems.
  • Deep experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems and microservice architectures at scale.
  • Proven ability to drive architecture decisions, influence technical direction, and lead engineering initiatives across teams.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-native technologies, and public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python, Go, or similar modern programming languages.
  • Experience with validation frameworks, automated testing strategies, and data quality controls.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Strong understanding of performance, reliability, scalability, observability, security, and operational excellence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools, knowledge-driven engineering practices, and modern software delivery methodologies is preferred.
