Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve analytics, reporting, and AI-driven data intelligence capabilities for large-scale workloads.
- Lead the architecture and delivery of complex distributed systems, microservices, and critical platform initiatives.
- Own services end to end, including design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, performance optimization, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Drive architectural decisions and technical direction across teams while establishing engineering standards and best practices.
- Mentor engineers through coaching, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to define requirements and align platform direction.
- Develop validation frameworks, automated testing strategies, and data quality controls for software and data products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 9+ years of professional software development experience leading the design and delivery of complex software systems.
- Deep experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems and microservice architectures at scale.
- Proven ability to drive architecture decisions, influence technical direction, and lead engineering initiatives across teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-native technologies, and public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, Go, or similar modern programming languages.
- Experience with validation frameworks, automated testing strategies, and data quality controls.
- Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Strong understanding of performance, reliability, scalability, observability, security, and operational excellence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools, knowledge-driven engineering practices, and modern software delivery methodologies is preferred.
