Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, debug, and evaluate software programs for business functional areas.
- Create and implement source code for new applications and design prototypes according to specifications.
- Perform unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing and debug source code.
- Evaluate existing applications and perform updates and modifications.
- Develop conversion and system implementation plans and prepare programming and system documentation.
- Analyze business challenges, determine requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Train users during system conversion and implementation.
- Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on knowledge of programming languages such as Java, .NET, and PL/SQL.
- Additional programming skills in HTML, JScript, React, and Python.
- Knowledge of data structure concepts, software design, and programming principles.
- Strong mathematical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop presentations and present to business and management stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business challenges and determine business requirements.
