Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and APIs.
- Build secure and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain AWS-based microservices and serverless solutions.
- Implement API authentication and authorization using OAuth, Okta, and JWT.
- Monitor application performance using Splunk, Honeycomb, and CloudWatch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in team ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Support production applications and drive service reliability.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in application development, system analysis, and database management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT, such as a B.E./B.Tech, or a Bachelor’s in Computer Applications.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, and ECS.
- Working knowledge of Splunk, Honeycomb, and CloudWatch.
- Knowledge of API security, OAuth, Okta, and JWTs.
- Python basics are preferred.
- Experience with debugging, modern development tools, and development practices is required; Agile, Confluence, and JIRA knowledge is optional.
- The role uses Java 17, Python 3.9+, and Spring Boot 3.0+.
