Responsibilities
- Build and maintain intelligent meteorological tools and workflow automation.
- Unlock value in meteorological operations through automation and integration.
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and traditional software for practical application.
- Collaborate with meteorologists and developers to co-create solutions.
- Make technology decisions balancing innovation with operational reliability.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects from assessment to deployment.
- Influence technical direction across development and support teams.

Requirements
- 7+ years in cloud-based solutions architecture, software development, or related roles.
- Domain experience in meteorology, weather forecasting, or scientific operations.
- Experience in production software delivery across the full lifecycle.
- Familiarity with 24x7 operational environments and mission-critical systems.
- Proficiency in managing multiple concurrent technical initiatives.
- Practical experience with AI coding assistants and modern AI integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
- Experience with modern web development frameworks like React or Next.js.
- Ability to design and integrate APIs with existing tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, Meteorology, or related field.
