Base Salary
$118k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop feature-rich native Android and AndroidTV applications.
- Identify team-process improvements and develop systems that support collaboration.
- Write clear, well-tested, performant code and sustainable, well-architected solutions.
- Manage production issues and solve novel technical problems.
- Support peers through code review and pair programming.
- Create opportunities to learn and improve the codebase.
- Present thoughtful, implementable solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Deep understanding of Android application architecture patterns, including MVVM and MVI, and design principles.
- Experience integrating applications with backend systems, web services, and third-party software.
- High standards for code and application quality, along with a growth mindset and willingness to give and receive feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with ExoPlayer and video playback is strongly preferred.
