Responsibilities
- Support the product R&D lifecycle under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, reviews, retrospectives, requirement analysis, and test case discussions.
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Python and pytest.
- Support the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks and test suites.
- Identify defects, analyze test results, and report issues clearly.
- Apply AI-assisted testing techniques such as LLM-supported test design, automated test generation, and test data creation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices and test processes.
Requirements
- Understanding of optical transmission fundamentals.
- Experience with Python and exposure to pytest or other test automation frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with software testing concepts and test automation fundamentals.
- Interest or initial experience with AI/ML applications in software testing is preferred.
- ISTQB certification or willingness to obtain it is preferred.
- Personal or academic projects related to testing or automation are preferred.
