Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scale the incrementality product into a reliable, repeatable experimentation platform.
- Develop near-real-time data ingestion and processing capabilities beyond batch workflows.
- Build AI-powered workflows that help marketers evaluate performance and act on insights.
- Improve connection-state systems and extend the partner ecosystem across data ingestion and exports.
- Work on product areas such as role-based access control.
- Contribute frontend work as needed to deliver complete product experiences.
- Take product problems from first principles through implementation and help new products scale.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing and building distributed backend systems, microservices, APIs, and/or data processing systems written in Python.
- Multiple years of professional experience building system architecture.
- Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and data scientists while independently driving implementation and delivery.
- Startup experience or experience working in an environment requiring engineering breadth, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous product needs into technical architecture and production-ready solutions.
- Ability to investigate complex datasets and interconnected tables, trace dependencies, and identify solutions in ambiguous technical situations.
- Working frontend experience with React and TypeScript; deep frontend specialization is not required.
- Strong coding fundamentals and ability to solve technical problems independently.
- Generalist mindset and willingness to work across backend, frontend, pipelines, and infrastructure.
- Data-intensive backend engineering experience combined with shipped frontend work is considered a strong fit.
