Base Salary
$165k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Secure, scale, and maintain cloud architecture, databases, file storage, search clusters, microservices, and ML pipelines.
- Run and optimize high-availability machine learning inference services.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions to scale the platform cost-effectively.
- Define SLOs and SLAs and participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
- Improve observability, alerting, and related operational processes.
- Identify and implement infrastructure cost optimizations.
- Contribute Python, JavaScript, and other code to product features.
- Fix security vulnerabilities and bugs.
- Collaborate with customer security teams on secure integrations and onboarding.
- Harden systems and processes to support SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, security, and customer-facing teams.
Requirements
- Production experience building and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes at scale.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Helm charts, Bash, and Python.
- Experience operating, monitoring, and scaling large-scale applications in AWS and/or GCP, especially ML/AI systems.
- Proficiency with Node.js and Python and ability to collaborate with full-stack developers on SaaS applications.
- Hands-on experience with ML infrastructure at scale, including GPUs, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Spacelift.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and their application in startup environments.
- Ability to use LLMs and AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, security analysis, and infrastructure optimization.
- Interest in high-autonomy, hands-on work and ownership of outcomes.
- Open-source contributions to Roboflow, developer tooling, infrastructure, or security projects are valued.
- Experience using Roboflow or building a computer vision project is valued.
