Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements and convert them into feasible software designs.
- Develop, test, modify, and maintain software programs and modules.
- Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases and usage scenarios.
- Troubleshoot software issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and improve system performance and availability.
- Collaborate with functional teams, systems analysts, project managers, engineering staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Prepare code, technical documentation, reports, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and project status updates.
- Support continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, implementation, and release-plan adherence.
- Capture client requirements and clarifications, respond to customer requests, and support on-time delivery.
- Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, quality risks, and customer experience.
- Participate in continuing education, training, and certifications to maintain current programming skills.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in software design, coding, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and software validation.
- Ability to analyze requirements, system flows, data usage, work processes, and software feasibility.
- Ability to develop clear, error-free code and documentation in accordance with project or program standards.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, project managers, analysts, engineering staff, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong customer communication, reporting, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to learn new programming languages, follow best practices, and complete relevant certifications.
