Responsibilities
- Containerize legacy mission applications and build hardened container baselines and registries.
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, security scanning, and artifact-generation gates.
- Deploy and troubleshoot workloads in on-premises virtualized and air-gapped environments, including Kubernetes environments.
- Generate pipeline security evidence such as SBOMs and scan outputs in partnership with a cybersecurity engineer.
- Identify repeatable manual processes and automate them.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps or DevSecOps experience on software programs, including containerization of existing applications.
- Hands-on experience with Docker/OCI containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline construction.
- Linux administration and Python or Bash scripting experience.
- Experience deploying to on-premises or air-gapped environments rather than only commercial cloud environments.
- Active TS/SCI clearance or current TS/SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship.
- Preferred: DoD software factory experience and continuous-ATO exposure.
- Preferred: VMware/vSphere administration and infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or Ansible.
- Preferred: DoD 8140/8570 baseline certification, such as Security+ CE.
