Base Salary
$104k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and test web application features using Microsoft .NET Framework.
- Build interactive front-end functionality with JavaScript and jQuery integrated with ASP.NET.
- Develop secure server-side business logic in C# using object-oriented design and maintainable architecture.
- Build, consume, and troubleshoot SOAP web services and XML integrations.
- Develop and optimize ADO.NET data-access components and Oracle SQL/PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and transactions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, refine and estimate user stories, and deliver sprint commitments.
- Write unit tests, conduct peer code reviews, and support integration and deployment activities.
- Investigate and resolve production defects, performance issues, and financial data-integrity problems.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, testers, and other team members to translate financial requirements into software.
- Maintain technical documentation and apply secure coding practices, including input validation and sensitive-data protection.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of professional experience, or an associate degree and 10 years, or a master’s degree and 6 years, or a high school diploma/equivalent and 12 years.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Professional experience building web applications with Microsoft .NET Framework and C#.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript and jQuery.
- Experience developing and integrating SOAP web services using XML and related standards.
- Experience using ADO.NET for database access, connection management, parameterized queries, and transactions.
- Oracle database development experience with SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Experience deploying, configuring, or troubleshooting applications in IIS.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, estimating stories, and delivering sprint-based work.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, web application architecture, version control, and code review practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, WCF, Web API, RESTful services, .NET and Oracle performance tools, legacy financial applications, scheduled Windows jobs, multi-system interfaces, GSA RETA, RWA workflows, Pegasys, or FMIS.
