Responsibilities
- Own frontend architecture decisions for rendering strategy, module boundaries, and design systems.
- Develop user-facing features and applications for complex, high-scale consumer products.
- Build reusable code, libraries, and design systems.
- Lead team adoption of AI-assisted development tools, including guidelines, tool evaluation, guardrails, and mentoring.
- Review and harden AI-generated code for hallucinated APIs, security issues, correctness bugs, and architectural drift.
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability using measurable performance budgets.
- Ensure pixel-perfect, cross-device implementation and validate the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Requirements
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, CSS preprocessing or CSS-in-JS, and TypeScript.
- Experience with React or another modern UI framework such as Vue or Angular.
- Experience with state and data-fetching tools such as TanStack Query, Redux Toolkit, or Zustand.
- Experience with monorepo tooling, Webpack, Vite, npm or pnpm, and frontend testing libraries.
- Strong understanding of GraphQL, micro-frontends, server-side rendering, static site generation, browser compatibility, web performance, and accessibility.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using tools such as Vitest, Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot, including agentic workflows for refactoring, test generation, and code migration.
- Strong judgment in reviewing AI-generated code and ability to establish effective and safe AI usage practices for a team.
- Ability to design clean, maintainable, reusable, and linted code and contribute to high- and low-level system architecture.
