Responsibilities
- Own test automation strategy and execution across API, app, and UI layers.
- Develop and maintain automated test cases for new features and existing functionality.
- Automate complex stateful API, UI, hybrid mobile, and native mobile workflows.
- Identify, log, document, monitor, and help troubleshoot software defects and anomalies.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, UX, and QA teams to resolve issues and improve quality processes.
- Participate in stand-ups and QA planning meetings to communicate testing progress, risks, and priorities.
Requirements
- More than three years of working experience with JavaScript.
- Advanced technical skills in Appium, JavaScript, NodeJS, Mocha, and Webdriver.io.
- Demonstrated experience automating complex stateful API and UI workflows, including authentication handling, session management, webhooks, and end-to-end validation.
- Deep understanding of designing and executing automated tests that identify security vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10 risks.
- Experience testing for and preventing exploit vectors across application layers.
- Demonstrated experience automating complex hybrid and native mobile applications.
- Experience using JIRA to view and update testing tickets and requirements.
- Experience using Postman and Figma.
- Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, critical thinking, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
