Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the technical goal, architectural roadmap, and reliability strategy for AQI Data SRE across the SAGE/SPARK production stack.
- Lead system design reviews, backend simplification, resource isolation, and production readiness for flagship Ads launches in partnership with development leadership.
- Architect and lead data-pipeline resilience, automated rollback and restart platforms, and consolidated observability projects.
- Mentor and grow engineers while advancing software engineering excellence, AI-first tooling, and SRE best practices.
- Lead complex production incident response, connect production signals to customer and business impact, and drive architectural improvements and blameless postmortems.
- Participate in a tier 2 on-call rotation for shared SAGE/SPARK infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- Three years of experience leading projects.
- Three years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience with large-scale data processing.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, experience with distributed real-time systems and high-throughput data pipelines, and knowledge of agentic flows or AI-assisted production and reliability tooling.
- Preferred qualifications include architectural alignment and technical-influence experience across large engineering organizations, collaboration with development teams, and experience building scalable self-service reliability and observability.
Benefits
- US base salary of $207000-$300000 USD, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
