Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, migrate, and support e-commerce websites on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
- Implement SFRA and PWA Kit migrations and develop custom features tailored to client requirements and branding.
- Integrate third-party applications and APIs and optimize site performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, designers, and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions and deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while providing ongoing project support and maintenance.
- Lead projects, mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and share engineering best practices.
- Monitor Salesforce platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, formerly Demandware.
- Proficiency with Demandware Script, ISML, pipelines, controllers, and other Salesforce Commerce Cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, including SEO, online marketing, and customer experience optimization.
- Proven experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with clients and team members.
- Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications are preferred.
