Base Salary

$55k - $103k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop software tools and scripts that improve semiconductor engineering workflows.
  • Automate design, quality assurance, release qualification, reporting, and tracking processes.
  • Support analog, mixed-signal, digital, and custom layout development teams.
  • Build or contribute to databases, web applications, dashboards, user interfaces, automation frameworks, and AI-powered productivity solutions.
  • Test and validate engineering tools and assess release readiness.
  • Collaborate with design, methodology, custom layout, quality assurance, and other cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Currently pursue a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Have at least one year of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python.
  • Have strong problem-solving, analytical, attention-to-detail, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate eagerness to learn new tools and engineering domains.
  • Preferred experience includes Python, JavaScript, C++, Perl, shell scripting, Linux/Unix, command-line tools, semiconductor or VLSI flows, IC design, IP development, EDA tools, automation frameworks, databases, web applications, version control, automated testing, AI agents, RAG systems, or LLM-based applications.
