Responsibilities
- Analyze technical and functional requirements, assess SAP incidents, and define solutions with functional consultants.
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP and ABAP Objects solutions in SAP S/4HANA.
- Develop and enhance SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and RAP.
- Build CDS Views, OData services, APIs, BAPIs, BAdIs, and SAP integration interfaces.
- Develop and support integrations using IDoc, RFC, Web Services, and file-based technologies.
- Prepare technical specifications, estimate development effort, and maintain technical documentation.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, code quality checks, tracing, and performance optimization.
- Apply SAP development best practices, Clean Core principles, security standards, and authorization requirements.
- Support transports, deployments, Level 3 incident resolution, and post-production activities.
- Collaborate with functional, technical, security, and architecture teams and support knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in SAP S/4HANA technical development.
- Advanced experience with ABAP, ABAP Objects, performance optimization, and SAP development best practices.
- Strong knowledge of SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, extensions, and SAP Fiori UX principles.
- Experience with ABAP RAP, Business Objects, Behavior Definitions, and OData V4.
- Strong knowledge of CDS Views, Virtual Data Models, Data Control Language, annotations, and SAP HANA code pushdown.
- Experience with APIs, BAPIs, BAdIs, IDoc, RFC, Web Services, and file-based integrations.
- Experience with unit testing, ABAP Test Cockpit, Git, code quality practices, and technical documentation.
- Understanding of requirements management, testing, transports, and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of SAP authorizations, PFCG/DCL, least-privilege principles, and secure development practices.
- Strong Level 3 incident analysis, debugging, tracing, and performance optimization experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with functional and technical teams.
- Bonus: experience with Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, or equivalent technologies.
- Bonus: knowledge of SAP BTP, Business Application Studio, Cloud Connector, and SAP integration principles.
- Bonus: familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, or cloud integrations.
