Responsibilities
- Investigate how large language models can improve static code analysis and software defect detection.
- Prototype and experiment with AI-augmented program analysis approaches.
- Evaluate approaches and build tooling to measure and compare results.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers in static analysis and applied AI.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on programming experience in C and/or C++, including familiarity with pointers, memory allocation, and structs.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, with Python strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and code-reasoning skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Preferred qualifications include coursework or projects in static code analysis, program analysis, or software security.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with LLMs, generative-AI tooling, and modern AI developer tools.
- Exposure to open-source software development tools is preferred.
