Responsibilities
- Define and maintain cloud security architectures, reference designs, baseline configurations, and security-by-design practices.
- Implement and operate CSPM, CWPP, cloud-native logging, monitoring, and threat detection tooling.
- Enforce security guardrails through policy-as-code and automation while securing networking, storage, compute, and managed services.
- Design and support IAM, least-privilege, role-based access, authentication, authorization, secrets management, encryption, key management, and data lifecycle controls.
- Enable cloud security telemetry and audit logs, investigate alerts and incidents, and support containment, remediation, recovery, and post-incident improvements.
- Conduct cloud security risk assessments, architecture reviews, and threat modelling, and support compliance and audit activities.
- Partner with platform and engineering teams, advise stakeholders as a cloud security subject matter expert, and improve security posture and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud security, cloud engineering, or security engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS or Azure.
- Practical experience implementing cloud security controls and monitoring solutions.
- Solid understanding of shared responsibility models and cloud-native architectures.
- Knowledge of cloud security architecture, identity and access management, cloud-native security tooling and automation, security monitoring, and incident response.
