Responsibilities
- Build out the One Touch Order Management platform, including its microservices layer.
- Deliver the platform roadmap within budget constraints and business-value objectives.
- Own end-to-end delivery and replacement of legacy and vendor trading systems.
- Define system architecture and design key modules while adhering to technology standards and SDLC practices.
- Adopt AI toolkits and productivity tools to modernize development processes.
- Implement highly automated, low-cost quality assurance.
- Partner with production support and other technology teams to ensure successful system delivery and operation.
- Manage compute and technology estates, including hygiene, security, and vulnerability items.
- Collaborate with regulatory, compliance, and audit teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong Core Java, multithreading, concurrency, and low-latency architecture skills.
- Strong exposure to Unix and Oracle.
- Command of current AI productivity tools.
- Strong engineering background and knowledge of modern architectures and frameworks, including middleware, server, document databases, and relational databases.
- Strong command of modern SDLC best practices.
- Solid understanding of equities products and services.
- Strong analytical, technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
