Base Salary
$245k - $335k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize the technical vision for the Card Technology domain.
- Architect target-state applications and provide technical support to development teams.
- Modernize monolithic systems into microservice architectures and event-driven platforms.
- Ensure technical design and implementation quality, including performance, scalability, operability, security, maintainability, and usability.
- Define long-term platform strategy and API standards with engineering and architecture leaders.
- Lead cross-divisional projects, architectural reviews, and technology best-practice initiatives.
- Provide hands-on technical contributions while mentoring engineers and strengthening engineering capabilities.
- Create communications, code samples, blog posts, and other materials to share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Preferred master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Preferred 12+ years of experience with web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Preferred 12+ years of professional coding experience with commonly used programming languages.
- Preferred 10+ years of experience with databases and database management systems.
- Preferred 12+ years of experience across the full system development lifecycle.
- Preferred 10+ years of experience with cloud-based productivity tools or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred 12+ years of experience with networking protocols and third-party distributed-system integration.
- Preferred 7+ years mentoring senior engineers and driving professional development.
- Preferred 3+ years leading cross-domain architectural reviews or establishing coding and design standards.
- Expertise in the strategic application of agentic AI coding tools is preferred.
