Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design the core platform connecting Hike’s AI, clinical, and manufacturing systems into one system of record.
- Lead complex technical initiatives, including enterprise integrations and healthcare data infrastructure.
- Make architecture decisions and set technical standards for reliability, security, and compliance.
- Write substantial production code and solve difficult cross-product technical problems.
- Mentor engineers and partner with product and design teams to shape future products.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building production systems and leading large technical efforts end to end.
- Deep experience with backend architecture, distributed systems, and data modeling.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Prisma, and AWS.
- Fluency with modern cloud and software development tooling.
- Product-minded approach focused on user impact.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, AI, and product teams.
- Experience putting AI into production is a plus, not a requirement.
