Responsibilities
- Onboard customers to Mistral products and APIs and guide them on prompting, evaluation, fine-tuning, and production integration.
- Deploy GenAI and LLM applications into production for high-impact customer use cases across consumer and industrial domains.
- Collaborate with customers, researchers, product engineers, and science teams on complex fine-tuning and LLM application projects.
- Participate in pre-sales calls, understand customer needs, and provide technical guidance to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide customer feedback to help improve Mistral’s products and model capabilities.
- Contribute to open-source codebases related to inference and fine-tuning.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and French.
- PhD or master’s degree in AI or data science.
- At least 2 years of experience as a technical individual contributor, such as a data scientist or software engineer, working on AI-based products.
- Experience fine-tuning LLMs and developing advanced RAG or agentic use cases.
- Deep understanding of machine learning and LLM concepts and algorithms.
- Experience building and deploying LLM or NLP applications.
- Experience implementing AI or machine learning products with APIs and back-end and front-end interfaces.
- Strong Python coding skills and experience with deep learning using PyTorch.
- Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain and vector databases.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience contributing to open-source LLM projects.
- Preferred experience as a Customer Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Product Manager.
