Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Revenue, Customer Success, sales, account management, project management, and engineering teams to understand customer needs and support successful delivery.
- Engage CIOs and other technical stakeholders through discovery sessions, workshops, presentations, and strategic discussions.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable solution designs aligned with AlayaCare’s SaaS platform capabilities, industry practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Create architectural diagrams, documentation, implementation timelines, cost estimates, proposals, and other solution artifacts.
- Validate technical feasibility with the Forward Deployed Engineering team and provide guidance during implementation handoffs.
- Partner with Platform Architecture to evolve the extensibility platform and drive external endpoint development.
- Stay current with home-care industry trends, emerging technologies, healthcare regulations, and AlayaCare platform capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Professional experience in a solution architecture role, preferably in SaaS or healthcare.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, risk-assessment, and solution-mitigation skills.
- Experience with HL7 FHIR and integration engines such as Iguana and Mirth.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, system integration, and cloud-based architectures.
- Experience engaging CIOs and other senior technical decision-makers.
- Proficiency creating architectural diagrams and documentation using standard tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and GDPR is an asset.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A master’s degree in a related field is an asset.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
