Responsibilities
- Maintain, update, and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including AKS and supporting services.
- Own platform stability and maintenance through bug fixes, small enhancements, and pragmatic system improvements.
- Implement safe changes across .NET backend systems, databases, and Angular frontend applications.
- Lead production incident triage, debugging, resolution, root cause analysis, monitoring, alerting, and telemetry improvements.
- Support controlled system wind-down or migration efforts and proactively mitigate technical risks.
- Guide engineering decisions, mentor junior engineers through pairing and reviews, and support onboarding and knowledge transfer.
- Document architecture, workflows, and operational procedures while collaborating with customer success on client-specific issues.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Extensive expertise in C# and .NET development.
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, particularly AKS/Kubernetes, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Azure networking services.
- Experience with containerized applications and cloud infrastructure.
- Backend and frontend experience with Angular, React, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of databases and Entity Framework.
- Demonstrated ability to debug complex production issues and lead incident response.
- Strong communication and mentorship experience.
- Familiarity with Office/document-generation systems or SDKs is preferred.
- Exposure to security and compliance practices such as OWASP or SOC2 is preferred.
